Hand care: treat yourself with a homemade scrub

In winter, your hands are often attacked and dried out. To protect them, give yourself a homemade hand care at least once a week!

To concoct it, here are two exfoliation ideas that are easy to do at home.

Sugar and honey scrub

For this first hand care, mix in a bowl:

  • One teaspoon of brown sugar (to exfoliate the skin)
  • One teaspoon of olive oil (to soften)
  • Four drops of lemon juice (to activate blood circulation)
  • One teaspoon of thick honey (to moisturize)

The preparation must be flexible. If the mixture is too strong, add a few drops of olive oil. If it is too liquid, add a little honey.

Once the right consistency has been obtained, remove a small amount of the preparation and massage your hands gently for about ten minutes. Then rinse them with clean water and gently wipe them in a towel. You’ll see, your hands will be soft and protected.

Baking soda scrub

Did you know the cosmetic properties of baking soda? This white powder not only whitens stained teeth, fights dandruff… but also protects dry hands. This makes it a perfect ingredient for hand care.

For this scrub, you will need :

  • Two teaspoons of baking soda in a bowl (to exfoliate, cleanse and relax the skin)
  • One teaspoon of olive oil, rich in oleic acid (to nourish them in depth)

Mix it all together and massage your hands with this preparation from palm to fingertips. Leave this hand treatment on for twenty minutes and rinse with clean water. Then pat your hands in a clean towel. And that’s it!

Thanks to this hand care, your skin will come out soft and firm.
